Israel's number of war memorials is the biggest in the world considering it's relatively small population. Living in Israel is being reminded of death anywhere you go: driving on the highway , shopping in the city center and even having a picnic in a forest, you will always find a monument around. In a certain point you will see the monumental even when it's not really there.
